Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali - travel to Nyungwe forest National park - Canopy walk
After breakfast, pick up by your driver guide from your place of residence, and drive to Nyungwe forest national park for your 2-Day Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk in Nyungwe , home to the chimpanzees and more than 13 other primate species, check in to your accommodation, have lunch and later in late afternoon go for canopy walk, this is the hanging platform which allows safari enthusiasts a chance to view all flora and fauna from a different angle and alleviation which is the forest canopy.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking - transfer back to Kigali
Have an early breakfast at 6.00 am, pick packed lunch, not leaving behind drinking water (at least one little) and transfer to the park headquarters. You are allocated a ranger to brief you about the chimpanzee trekking expedition. At 8 am, transfer to the start of the trek and move into the jungles to find the Chimpanzees. When you find the Chimpanzees, you are allowed not more than an hour to view and photograph them. Return at the start point to meet your driver.
Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and drive back to Kigali for drop off at desired destination.
